This policy explains how Verdome Limited uses the personal information you give us through this website, by email or by telephone. We keep it to what we need, and we do not sell it.

Who we are

What we collect, and why

• Enquiries. If you use the enquiry form or contact us directly, we collect your name, email address, telephone number (if you give it) and the content of your message. We use it to reply and to discuss and quote for work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where you ask us to, taking steps towards a contract.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email address and use it to send you news and blog posts about Verdome's work. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by emailing us.
• Clients and suppliers. If we work together, we keep the contact details and records we need to deliver the work, issue invoices and meet our legal and accounting duties.
• Website use. Our website is hosted by Wix. If you click Accept on our cookie notice, we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and sends information such as the pages you view, roughly where you are, and your device and browser type to Google, so we can see how the site is used and improve it. Google Analytics is switched off unless you accept, and you can change your choice at any time. We do not use advertising cookies. The site also uses Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google so the fonts can be displayed.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that help us run the business, such as our website host (Wix), email provider, accountants and, where relevant, couriers. They may use it only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your information or share it for other companies' marketing.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to two years, then deleted.
• Client and supplier records: as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes, normally six years.
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for newsletters or other marketing. You can also object to how we use it in some circumstances. To do any of these, email hello@verdome.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date above.
